Australian Masters Poker have changed their competition format. There will be one Grand Final a year and players may win their entry into the Grand Final, through the Regional Finals which will be held at the end of each season.
The following titles are available through Australian Masters Poker.
1. Tournament Master: At the conclusion of each game, the winner will be awarded the title of Tournament Master, this is the easiest title to win.
2. Venue Master: As each Season concludes, the total highest point scorer at each venue from all combined Venue Tournaments will be crowned Venue Master
3. Regional Master: At the conclusion of each season, a regional final will be held the winners from these finals may win an entry into the AMP Grand Final.
4. Australian Masters Poker Champion: This title is won at AMP‘s Grand Final, awarded to the overall winner from 4 previous seasons combined.
5. CHAMPION of CHAMPIONS 2008: (Invitation Only) This tournament includes the very best players. Top 16 from 4 x Grand Finals, all Venue Masters and the top 20 from AMP’s leader board for the previous 4 seasons.

REGIONAL FINALS: At the end of each Season, the following players will be invited to compete in their own regional finals where they may win a seat into the Australian Masters Poker 2009 Grand Final.
Prize money for the Regional Finals, will be announced by Tournament Director and depends on the number of players in each region:

FINALISTS FOR THE 2009 AUSTRALIAN MASTERS POKER CHAMPION
1) Final 8 or 16 players from each seasons Regional Finals (*Depending on size of region)
2) Top 25 per season from AMP MASTERS leaderboard
3) Top 25 per season from AMP MASTERS leaderboard
4) Top 15 per season from each Regional leaderboard
5) Top 3 per season from EVERY Venue leaderboard
• LOYAL PLAYERS: One player each season who has played 20 games and NOT on any leaderboard, may go though at the Tournament Directors discretion
* Organisers may invite sponsors and other guests in addition to players who won their seat.

Apart from becoming Australian Masters Poker Champion the winner of the Grand Final may be offered $10,000 cash prize or a seat in the Main Event of one of the following Major Poker Tournaments. The decision as to which prize or world tournament entry the finalist will receive, is made by Australian Masters Poker.*

Main Event prize, will include flights, accommodation and a paid entry into the Main Poker Event.
There is a Grand Prize of $10,000 cash or Main Event seat, up for grabs at the AMP Grand Final.
